ALONA M. GOTTFRIED, ESQ, is a Mediator for URMe and an Attorney with the law firm of Owens & Perkins, P.C.  She is an experienced professional, facilitating resolutions to conflict. Ms. Gottfried has served as an executive officer of the Arizona Dispute Resolution Association and is trained in Collaborative Divorce Law. A native of Arizona, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University (Summa Cum Laude; Phi Beta Kappa) and her law degree from the College of Law at Arizona State University (Cum Laude). She has received advanced mediation training at Pepperdine School of Law’s prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and has taught mediation to new and experienced Mediators across the state. Ms. Gottfried has practiced family and employment law for over ten years.
