Divorce Mediation with Attorneys

Save time, money and stress by using mediation.

Unlimited Resolutions Mediation, Inc. provides hourly mediation services for divorcing parties represented by Attorneys.  The mediation is scheduled for both participants with their Attorneys present. Lawyers have been using mediation for their clients for years, the Courts use mediation and the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure strongly encourage the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution, in particular, mediation.  Our family mediation services, with Attorneys, are billed hourly and a five (5) hour retainer is required, together with an administrative fee.

TIME:  It can take months or even years to get a final Court Order or Divorce Decree and some people return to Court year after year trying to change or modify their Orders.  Mediation can expedite the process and it can be scheduled when it is convenient for the clients and their Attorneys.

MONEY:  A divorce can cost tens of thousands of dollars to litigate. Clients can find a better way to spend their money--especially if they have children.   Mediation can save each party thousands of dollars.

STRESS:  Mediation can make divorce a lot easier, by putting the decisions in the hands of those involved.  Cases are settled in hours, usually one session.  At URMe, our mediations are conducted in a comfortable, confidential setting rather than the intimidating environment of a Courtroom.

At the conclusion of a successful mediation, a binding Settlement Agreement will be drafted and signed, incorporating the terms of the agreements. After the mediation, the mediation participants’ Attorneys will draft, approve, and file the pleadings to formalize the agreement as a binding Order of the Court.  Everyone is more likely to accept and follow something they participated in creating.  Mediation allows individuals to move forward more quickly with a better, positive attitude.

Cost of URMe hourly mediation services:

  • An initial retainer includes five (5) hours of the Mediator’s time and a one time administrative fee, which must be paid prior to the commencement of any services
  • If additional time is required, a supplemental five (5) hour retainer must be paid prior to scheduling further mediation sessions
  • If less time is used, any remaining funds will be refunded

URMe encourages mediation participants to share the cost of mediation equally; however, other arrangements can be made, as agreed by the participants. URMe requires a Fee Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement, Client Consent and Disclosure signed by both parties and payment prior to the commencement of any services.

URMe does not provide legal and/or tax advice to mediation participants. We strongly recommend that each participant privately consult with advisors of his/her choosing for independent legal and/or tax advice. Upon request, URMe can provide clients with a list of Attorneys and/or tax advisors.
